General notarization covers a wide range of personal and business paperwork that requires proper identity verification and an official notarial act. Each appointment is handled with accuracy, patience, and attention to detail—so your documents are completed correctly the first time.​
Standard notarizations include acknowledgments, jurats, affidavits, powers of attorney, and other commonly requested documents.
Important Notarization Requirements

​To complete any notarial act, the following requirements must be met:

Personal Appearance Required
All signers must personally appear before the notary at the time of notarization. Documents cannot be notarized without the signer being physically present. -
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
Each signer must present a current, unexpired government-issued photo identification, such as:-
State-issued driver’s license or ID card

U.S. passport or passport card

Other government-issued ID permitted under California law

Name Consistency
The name on the identification must reasonably match the name on the document being notarized. -
Willingness & Awareness
Signers must be willing participants and able to understand the document they are signing. A notary cannot proceed if a signer appears confused, coerced, or unable to communicate.
